Title:
FEED THROUGH FOR ELECTRIC CABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03218238
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve watertightness by burying an electric cable into a shield member in the region inside an opposed surface and depressing the shield member on both sides by a continuous surface. CONSTITUTION: A shield member 26 formed together with a lid member 24 has a continuous rim 36 placed between the surfaces 28, 30. A cable 34 connected to a motor and its control device are inserted through an angle part 38 formed in the rim 36 and the shield member 26. A cable 34 is insulated and at the same time tin-plated and it is surrounded with a sealing material. When the cable 34 is placed in the regular position, in the feedthrough region of the angle part 38 or the shield member 26, a hollow space provided for the cable can be closed with a cover by the infection of a sealing material and so forth. Therefore, a desired drip-proof path for the cable 34 can be obtained in the shield member 26 between the surfaces 28, 30.
