PURPOSE: To prevent cold air on the side of a freezing chamber from leaking to the side of a refrigeration chamber through a feed water pipe connected to a discharge port, in a refrigerator which has in an upper section the refrigeration chamber provided with a feed water device of an automated ice making machine and in a lower section the freezing chamber provided with the automated ice making machine, by providing a valve body which is opened by water pressure at the discharge port of a water receiver constituting the feed water device.

CONSTITUTION: A feed water device 4 of an automated ice making machine consists of a feed water tank 7 having a stop cock 6 at its lower part, a solenoid valve 6 for pushing up the cock 6, a water receiver 10 having a discharge port 9 at its lower part, a feed water pipe 12 connected to the port 9 of the receiver 10 through a feed water pipe fastener 11, and a freezing prevention heater 13 for preventing freezing in pipes. If the port 9 is always in an opened state, cold air on the side of a lower freezing chamber leaks to the side of an upper refrigeration chamber 1; therefore, a valve body 15, which is opened by water pressure when water is supplied, is provided at the port 9 to prevent leak of the cold air. The body 15 is formed integrally with the fastener 11.
