Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preheater to which maximum water feed amount is stably input even when water feed amount is fluctuated in a feed water heater including the preheater.SOLUTION: In a feed water heater, a bypass line branch 5, a flowmeter 6, a preheater 7, a bypass line branch 8 and a main heater 9 are arranged from a water feed inlet 2 toward a water feed outlet 3 on a water feed line 1, and a control valve 10 is arranged on a bypass line. Control means 11 is connected to the flowmeter 6 and the control valve 10, and when a value of the flowmeter 6 comes close to a preset threshold value, the control means 11 gradually opens the control valve 10 to make part of feed water flow in the bypass line 4, so as to input stable amount of feed water to the preheater 7 all the time.
