To provide a space-saving feed water pump with high reliability having a long service life which does not need external auxiliaries.
The feed water pump 1 is equipped with a feed water pump part 20, a thrust bearing 40, a viscous oil feeding pump 50b for feeding lubricant to a sliding part, and a bearing housing 102a for housing all of the above. The thrust bearing 40 is equipped with a thrust runner 9, and thrust pads 8a, 8b abutting both sides of the thrust runner 9. The viscous oil feeding pump 50b is equipped with the outer peripheral part of the thrust runner 9, an oil feeding casing part 200 arranged with a certain amount of space between itself and the outer periphery of the thrust runner 9, an oil feeding chamber 210 formed between the outer periphery of the runner 9 and the oil feeding casing part 200, and an oil suction port 212 formed communicatingly to a lower part of the oil feeding chamber 210. The oil feeding chamber 210 is formed so that the space of the oil suction port side is large and that of the opposite side is small.
