To actuate and open, without depending on the supply of power from a power source, the electrically driven valve provided on a channel and needed for the power-free operation of a feed water supply device which opens and closes the valve to supply water and to stop the supply of water.
The water supply device 10 has an electrically driven solenoid valve 16 provided on a channel 12; the valve 16 is opened and closed to supply water and to stop the supply of water. The valve 16 is forcibly driven to open by the manual operation of a manually operated member 42 to start the supply of water without depending on a power source that stores electric power in advance. A generator 20 with a water turbine 18 is provided on the channel 12 and the electric power generated by the generator 20 is supplied to the valve 16 to close the valve 16.
