Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a phase difference calculation unit for an input signal and a feedback signal in a negative feedback amplifier of a Cartesian loop system.SOLUTION: A negative feedback amplifier of a Cartesian loop system comprises: a phase difference calculation unit 43 that calculates a phase difference between an input base band signal and an orthogonal demodulation signal; and an infinite phase shifter 42 that adjusts a phase of a local signal inputted to an orthogonal modulation unit or an orthogonal demodulation unit on the basis of a phase difference signal of the phase difference calculation unit. The phase difference calculation unit comprises: a calculation start timing determination unit 45 that outputs a calculation start command by detecting that a value of an orthogonal component of any one of the input base band signal and the orthogonal demodulation signal is zero; and a phase calculation processing unit 46 that, when the calculation start command is inputted from the calculation start timing determination unit, calculates a phase on the basis of an in-phase component and an orthogonal component of the other of the input base band signal and the orthogonal demodulation signal, and uses a calculation result as a phase difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
