To provide a discharge device for a plate-like member realizing efficiency of work by improving the workability regarding discharge action of the plate-like member in which every sheet of the plate-like member is taken out from a conveying device for conveying in the standing state and is discharged in the piled up state at a multi-stage, and effective for downsizing of an installation space.

The plate-like members 2 conveyed on the conveying device in the standing state are successively received/given onto a support member 14 in the inclined state through a receiving/giving member 10 and the receiving/giving is carried out while the support members 14 are successively descended and the plate-like member 2 at the uppermost position is maintained to predetermined height. During this, the plate-like members are piled up at the appropriate number of stages while a lower end of the plate-like member 2 is supported by an end support part 11. Thereafter, the plate-like members 2 piled up at the multi-stage are discharged onto a discharge conveyor by turning a pivoting member 13 to the standing state. The above basic structure of the discharge device can be also applied as a feeder for feeding the plate-like members to the conveying device.
