Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively use floor space by grounding a car body loaded on a conveying truck on a travelling path at that position and self-running same to be fed out in a feeder for feeding an automobile body from a conveying line. CONSTITUTION:At a feeding station St of a conveying line, a conveying pit P at that portion is made deeper and a conveying path 1 is parted at front and rear, two portions, to form an elevating conveying path 11 of a fixed length. The elevating conveying path 11 can be driven to elevate by two sets of cross links and a lift device Li including a lift cylinder 17. Further, right and left holes H, H sized in such a manner as to permit a truck Tr to freely pass therethrough are formed on both sides of the elevating conveying path 11 and the opening portions of the respective holes H to the elevating conveying path 11 can be shielded by right and left shielding plates 57, 57. The respective shielding plates 57 are opened and closed between a horizontal state and a lower retreat position round each pivot 64 by an open-and-close mechanism 60 disposed in each hole H.
