Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a feeder for low pressure casting of an Al casting preventing deformation and cracking due to heating-cooling and capable of remarkably prolonging the useful life.
CONSTITUTION: This feeder for low pressure casting of an Al casting has a chemical compsn. consisting of, by weight., 2.5-3.0% C, 4.8-5.2% Si, 0.5-1.5% Mn, ≤0.05% P, ≤0.015% S, 18-22% Ni, 2.5-3.5% Cr, ≤0.10% Mg, 0.5-1.0% Al and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
