PURPOSE: To obtain a feeder, capable of precisely supplying a feed even in a weightless state and regulating the feed rate according to the appetite and having high space utilization efficiency by constructing a tube feed for murines filled in a tube so as to deliver the feed according to the eating by the murines.

CONSTITUTION: A tube feed (4a) is initially nipped between mutual gears 6. When murines 2 eat the tube feed (4a), gnawing vibration, withdrawing force, etc., are sensed and the gears 6 are continuously or intermittently rotated to deliver an adequate amount of the tube feed (4a). Since this operation is performed without regard to the presence of the gravity, the murines 2 do not fall into the shortage of the feed. Since the tube feed (4a) is delivered according to the rate at which the murines 2 eat the feed, the tube feed (4a) is delivered according to the rate at which the murines 2 eat the feed. If the murines stop eating, the delivery of the tube feed (4a) is automatically stopped.
