Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a feedforward amplifier, there has been hard conventionally to control its distortion compensation stably at a high speed.
SOLUTION: A feedforward amplifier has a CPL1 for distributing its input carrier signal into two output signals; a VAP1 for adjusting one output signal of the two distributed output signals; an AMP1 for so amplifying the one adjusted output signal as to generate an amplified signal; a CPL2 for so utilizing the other output signal of the two distributed output signals and the generated amplified signal as to extract its distortion signal; a CPL3 for so utilizing the generated amplified signal and the extracted distortion signal as to generate its output carrier signal; and a CNT1 having logarithmic amplifiers which controls the VAP1 based on the other output signal of the two distributed output signals and the generated amplified signal.
