To improve productivity by efficiently and almost simultaneously performing works of the feeding, the preheating, the discharging, the drawing, the cooling and the carrying-out of rod-shaped works being heated at high temperature by mounting rotating structure in a horizontal direction to a device with a vertical laminated structure and to some other devices.
A feeding gate 31 is arranged on the upper surface of the outer cylinder 23 of a feeding device 20 of rod shape works, a rod shape work 28 is hung by clamping the step shape part of the work by a hanging device 32 above the center of a holding hole body 29 and remaining material near the head part of the rod shape work 28 is discharged through a discharging gate that is arranged on the lower surface of the outer cylinder 23. With this, the works of the feeding, the hanging and the discharging of the rod shape works 28 can be performed on the same level with the feeding device 20 simultaneously. The inlet gate 63 of the carrying-out device 55 is aligned with the center of the upper and lower openings of a high temperature heating furnace 10 and arranged in the upper face of an outer cylinder 57, and the carrying-out gate 64 is arranged at the position that is 180° opposite to the inlet gate 63 about a rotation axis. With this, the cooling and the carrying-out works of the rod shape works 28 can be performed simultaneously.
