In this feeding device for a yarn feed bobbin 2, the yarn feed bobbin 2 inserted in and erected on a tray 14 is taken in from the feeding conveyor 3 to a tray feeding passage of a winding unit and fed to a winding position A at an end of the tray feeding passage. A rotary disc member is placed below the conveyor belt of the feeding conveyor 3 in non-contacting condition, and when the tray 14 is loaded on a part of the feeding conveyor of the rotary member 32, the conveyor belt of the feeding conveyor 3 comes into contact with the rotary member 32 so as to rotate the rotary member 32 and take in the tray 14 on the tray feeding passage. Since the rotary member 32 is rotated by receiving rotating and driving force only when the tray 14 is loaded on the part of the feeding conveyor of the rotary member 32, the damage caused by contact of the two can be minimized.
