To provide feedstuff for hens laying DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)-containing eggs, a breeding method and the eggs obtained therefrom.

By following a conventional way, 5-200 pts. perilla seed oil is squeezed, the obtained perilla seed oil and remaining perilla seed residues are added to feedstuff to bring the total amount of the mixed feedstuff to be 1,000 pts. Eggs containing 0.12-0.38% DHA can be obtained after hens have been bred by feeding the feedstuff two times per day for continuously at least 4 weeks. The eggs laid by the hens bred by the feedstuff added with all of the perilla seed oil and the residues contain high amounts of DHA and ALA and have good health effects.
