Abstract:

To provide a feedthrough for an optical submarine relay device, capable of simplifying the structure of a joint section such as a joint jig.

This feedthorugh for submarine relay device is provided with a relay device boy 1, formed with a through-hole 1a for communicating the outside and the inside of a casing with each other, an optical submarine cable 2 led into the inside from the outside of the casing through the through-hole 1a, and the joint jig 4 fitted into the through-hole 1a, so that the end face of the casing outside may be pressed by hydraulic pressure outside the casing.
