PURPOSE: To obtain a female die capable of adjusting the clearance between said die and a male die easily by providing a basic female die using many die members on a mavable base, setting one die member as a basis and allowing others to move in parallel.

CONSTITUTION: A movable base 2 is provided on a fixed base 1 installed on the bed of a press machine allowing free movement. A square basic female die frame A is formed on the top face 2a by combining L-shaped die members 3, 4, 5, 6. Movement controlling mechanism B, B having an eccentric cam abutting on an eccentric hole provided on the movable base supported by the fixed base are provided at opposing cornere C, C on the top face 2a of the movable base 2. The movable base 2 is made movable in the direction of bisector of vertical angle a1. The die member 3 is fixed with a screw to the movable base 2, and base members 4, 5, 6 are made movable in the direction of X or Y to enable the square basic die frame A to make parallel movement.
