To provide a fence structure capable of connecting crossbar members arranged between a plurality of strut members adjoining firmly to each other with ease, being correspondent to a place where there is a level difference or it is curved along a curve.
A strut member 1 and a crossbar member 2 are connected together through a joint instrument 3. The strut member 1 has a lateral hole 1a opening at the side face. The cross bar member 2 has a slit 5 formed in substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the crossbar member 2. The joint instrument 3 is provided with a rod member 4 fitted in the lateral hole 1a and fitted to the strut member 1, a shaft member 6 attached to the crossbar member 2 so as to penetrating the slit 5 substantially perpendicular to the face of the slit 5, and an arm member 7 arranged in the slit 5 of the cross member 2 and of which the posture can be changed around the shaft member 6. The arm member 7 is connected to the rod member 4.
