Title:
FENDER UPPER END MOUNTING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005119542
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fender upper end mounting structure capable of enhancing the degree of freedom of a parting line from a fender upper end to a hood rear end, and enhancing the productivity of a vehicle.

A tongue-shaped fender mounting part 24 is formed on an upper end part 18A of a front fender panel 18. A tongue-shaped mounting part 28 is formed at the position offset inwardly in the vehicle width direction of the arrangement position of the fender mounting part 24. The fender mounting part 24 is fixed to a cowl side mounting part 28 via a resin-made fender mounting bracket 32 formed in a substantially L-shape in plan view. A mounting point of the fender mounting bracket 32 on the cowl side mounting part 28 in a state after assembly is arranged substantially in a juxtaposed manner inwardly in the vehicle width direction of a hinge-coupled part 20C of a hood hinge 20. Therefore, a parting line from the upper end part 18A of the front fender panel 18 to a rear end part 16A of a hood 16 can be set at a solid line A or at a one-dot chain line B.
