To provide a fermented feed produced from food product waste as raw materials, capable of enhancing preservability by suppressing decomposition and capable of dramatically improving the physical condition of animals by reinforcing the immune function of the animals when feeding to the animals and the method for producing the same.
The fermented feed obtained by fermenting the raw material containing food product waste containing moisture with lactic acid bacteria is in the condition in which a living bacterium number concentration of the lactic acid bacteria is saturated. In the method for producing the fermented feed in which the raw materials containing food product waste containing moisture are mixed with the lactic acid bacteria and fermented under an anaerobic condition, the fermentation of the raw materials is continued to a time point when the living bacterium number concentration becomes the maximum value.
