Title:
FERMENTED FORMULA FEED AND ITS PRODUCTION AND USE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3729576
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject feed not inhibiting the absorption of minerals due to a low content of phytin and high in digestibility and palatability by compounding a soybean-originating feed material with wheat crushed products degradable with phytin and subsequently fermenting the mixture with lactic acid bacteria in a wet state.
SOLUTION: This formula feed is obtained by compounding (A) a soybean- originated feed material (e.g. defatted soybean, soybean soup or bean curd refuse) with (B) a phytin-degradable wheat crushed product (e.g. pressed wheat, wheat flour or unground flour) in the same amount or more as the solid content, preferably ≥1.5 times amount, and further fermenting the composition in a wet state. The components A and B are preferably compounded in a total amount of ≥60w/w% per the solid content in the objective feed. The humidity on the lactic acid bacterium fermentation is preferably 45-80%, more preferably 45-60%, when storability is seriously considered. The lactic acid bacterium used for the lactic acid bacterium is preferably Enterococcus faesius HL-5 (FERM BP-4504). The objective feed is mainly used as a feed for monogastric animals such as pig.
