To provide a manufacturing method of a fermentation pellet that can be used as useful compost in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the fermentation pellet obtained by making a sewage sludge residue pellet support bacterium is a method of fermenting a bacteria-supported sewage sludge residue pellet in which Bacillus bacterium are supported inside a sewage sludge residue pellet and lactic acid bacterium are supported in a surface layer part, wherein the bacteria-supported sewage sludge residue pellet is ozone-treated by liquid or gas containing ozone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
