Title:
FERRITE SINTERED BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3454164
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sintered body useful as an element of an electronic part having a formed inner conductor containing silver by adding a glass having a specific viscosity to a ferrite containing at least two kinds of nickel, zinc and copper.
SOLUTION: A glass having ≥1010 Pa.s viscosity at 650-800°C is used. The amount of the added glass is preferably 1-99 vol.% based on the total of a ferrite and the glass. The glass is preferably a crystalline glass, and the crystal- melting temperature is preferably ≤900°C. The crystalline glass containing no boron is more preferable. The diffusion of silver included in an inner conductor is effectively suppressed, the electric characteristics of the ferrite is goodly taken out and the proper forming state of the inner conductor is guaranteed while keeping sinterability by using the glass having ≥1010 Pa.s viscosity at 650-800°C which is lower than 930°C of the melting point of the silver included in the inner conductor and at which the ferrite starts the sintering.
