PURPOSE: To prevent generation of disconnection and a crack in an electrode comming in contact with an organic thin film holding a ferroelectric thin film and a peripheral part of this ferroelectric thin film.
CONSTITUTION: A ferroelectric thin film device is provided with a ferroelectric thin film 2, a second organic thin film 5 holding a peripheral part of the ferroelectric thin film 2, a first electrode 4A comming in contact with one face of the ferromagnetic thin film 2 besides extendingly provided along the face of the other face side of the ferroelectric thin film 2 in the second organic thin film 5 and a second electrode comming in contact with the other face of the ferroelectric thin film 2 besides extendingly provided along the face of the other face side of the ferroelectric thin film 2 in the second organic thin film 5. A first organic thin film 3A insulating a first electrode 3A from a second electrode is provided between the first electrode 3A and the second electrode. The first organic thin film 3A is overall in contact with the surface of the other face side of the ferroelectric thin film 2 in the first electrode 4A.
