PURPOSE: To provide the ferrous sliding parts stuck with rust preventive films which are free from stains and have excellent rust preventive power while the films are uniform and thin even if the thickness of the rust preventive films is not controlled by solvent washing.

CONSTITUTION: The above-mentioned ferrous sliding parts are subjected to the primary washing by an aq. soln. contg. an inorg. alkali and the secondary washing by an aq. soln. contg. an org. alkali. 0.1 to 0.8wt.% aliphat. amine, 0.2 to 1.2wt.% boron amine and 0.2 to 1.2wt.% glycol ether are incorporated into the above-mentioned aq. soln. contg. the org. alkali to stick the respective components of the aq. soln. contg. the org. alkali to the surfaces.
