Abstract:

To provide fiber for artificial hair having touch feeling closely similar to that of natural hair, enabling reduction in time required for curling and setting hair, and also sufficiently excellent in flame retarding properties.

The fiber for artificial hair is obtained by making synthetic resin fibrous. The synthetic resin includes 100 pts.mass of polyamide and 3-30 pts.mass of a flame retardant. The polyamide preferably comprises at least one kind of compounds selected from the group comprising nylon 6, nylon 6, 6, nylon 4, 6, nylon 1, 2, nylon 6, 10 and nylon 6, 12.
