To elongate the life of a component without reducing performances for collecting and transferring a fiber bundle.
The fiber bundle-collecting device 11 is installed in the downstream side of a final delivery roller pair 13 of a draft device 12, and has a nip roller pair 16, sucking pipes 29 and 30 arranged so that the nipping point of the nip roller pair 16 may be placed between them, and an air-permeable apron 18 wound over the sucking pipes 29 and 30 and a bottom nip roller 19a. The air-permeable apron 18 is formed so that the front surface 18a coming into contact with the fiber bundle F may have higher smoothness than that of the back surface 18b, and the back surface coming into contact with guide surfaces 29b and 30b may have larger abrasion resistance than that of the front surface 18a. The air-permeable apron 18 is formed by overlapping two woven fabric having a loop without seams.
