Abstract:

To join fiber bundles together while keeping the winding easiness of the fiber bundles and preventing the shape nonuniformity and the degradation of physical properties of an FRP molding in a method for producing the FRP molding by a filament winding method.

A method for joining the fiber bundles together used in the filament winding method for winding the filament bundles onto a rotary member includes the process (a) of cutting stepwise the end part of the fiber bundle f1 and the end part of the fiber bundle f5 and the process (b) of joining the end part 1a cut stepwise the fiber bundle f1 and the end part 1b cut stepwise the fiber bundle f5 together every step.
