To provide a fiber compounded material containing at least one kind of a fiber component and at least two kinds of material components, and a method for using the same.

The fiber compounded material contains at least one kind of the fiber component and at least two kind of matrix components comprising separate materials having different thermodynamical characteristics. In the method for manufacturing the fiber compounded material, two kinds of the matrix components are liquefied and can be wetted with a filament component prepared by liquefying a fiber filament of the fiber component. In the liquefied state, one matrix component is not dissolved in the other matrix component. In the consolidation of the compounded material, one of the preliminarily liquefied matrix components is cured irreversibly to obtain a thermosetting resin and the other one of them can be held to a fusible state. The surface of matter can be reinforced by adhesion using this compounded material. This compounded material can be bonded after it is formed into a shape fitted to the surface of the matter by thermoplastic deformation.
