Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product which excels in grip property of a fiber bundle and wear property of a surface by a fiber bundle draft and roller made of rubber roller.
SOLUTION: A thin amorphous quartz film having the thickness of 0.05 to 5 micron is provided on a part of a surface or the whole surface of a rubber roller. The thin quartz film contains carbon black, diamond powders, metal powders or tetrafluoroolefin powders in dispersion to increase resistance against wear further and give resistance against dirt. The thin amorphous quartz film can be obtained easily by coating of xylene solution of perhydropolysilazane having molecular weight of 600 to 1000.
