PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an appropriate treatment against the generation of paper powder relatively easily with a good appearance while preventing the generation of the paper powder.SOLUTION: A fiber drum 1 includes a bottomed cylindrical barrel 2 with an opened upper part and a lid body 3 externally fitted and attached to an opening of the barrel 2. The lid body 3 includes a lid body 31 and a top plate 32. The lid body 31 is formed by cutting out an annular body 201 of a prescribed length shorter than the barrel 2 from a roll 200, formed into a cylindrical shape by laminating and bonding plural sheets of sheet-like base paper, and by bending the upper end inward in a radial direction.
