Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook-and-loop fastener which is capable of keeping a specified engagement force for a long time, excellent in flexibility even in a fiber-formed male engagement element, capable of obtaining excellent touch free from itchy feeling, and free from abnormal peeling noise.
SOLUTION: A fiber-formed hook-and-loop fastener has at least a large number of male engagement elements 2 to be implanted in a fiber base cloth 1 such as an woven or knit fabric and a nonwoven fabric, and is attached/ detached to/from the counter hook-and-loop fastener. The base cloth 1 has an aggregate consisting of a plurality of hook-like engagement elements 2a, 2a of small diameter wires which are erected from a common part of the base cloth surface with each base end adjacent to each other, and each base end part of a plurality of hook-like engagement elements 2a, 2a of the aggregate is integratedly joined with a part of a synthetic resin 3 which is a backing agent to penetrate the woven on knit base cloth 1.
