This fiber machine having a doffing device is characterized by comprising a winding state-recognizing means 30b for recognizing the length of a yarn wound on a package 7 in each winding unit 2, a target-setting means 30c for setting a doffing work performance target in a preferential order from a full package wound length winding unit 7 to a winding unit 7 close to a full package, and a work-waiting means 30d for making a doffing device 3 to wait the performance of a doffing work, until a package formed in the winding unit is filled, after the doffing device 3 reaches a winding unit 2 of the next doffing work performance target.
