Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a fiber-made belt with an engaging part capable of enhancing a tensile strength between the long-size belt and a resin molding formed at its intermediate or end part.

CONSTITUTION: A long-size belt 1 is made by weaving or knitting fiber. An intermediate or end part 1a of the belt 1 is inserted into a die 3. The belt 1 in the die is formed with both the surfaces 10a and 10b thereof interposed between the projections 32a and 33a on one die side and 32b and 33b on the other die side. In this manner a resin molding 2 is produced which is provided with a fixing part 2a having recess parts 20a, 21a, 20b and 21b showing their bottoms in the interposed part and an engaging part 2b detachably engageable with the other part formed integrally with the fixing part 2a.
