Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform the desirable cutting of a chemical fiber mixed in an extrusion plate by performing cutting while applying ultrasonic vibration to at least one of a receiving blade and a cutting blade.
CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic vibrator 14 is connected to vibrate one of a cut ting blade 12 and a receiving blade 13 or both blades at high frequency. The cohesion of a chemical fiber 11 itself in a plate 8 is thereby weakened. The cutting blade 12 and receiving blade 13 are further weakened. The cutting blade 12 and receiving blade 13 are further attached/detached repeatedly at high frequency so as to repeat vibrational pressing to the chemical fiber held between both blades 12, 13. The chemical fiber 11 can be thus cut rapidly.
