Abstract:

To provide an inorganic molded body excellent in durability, such as fire resistance and freezing damage resistance, and mechanical characteristics, such as bending strength, even it is lightweight.

In the fiber reinforced inorganic molded body includes at least cement, a siliceous material, and a reinforced fiber, the reinforced fiber has a sheath-core structure composed of two or more different thermoplastic resins, and a melting point of the thermoplastic resin composing a sheath part 1 is lower compared to that of the thermoplastic resin composing a sheath part 2. The fiber reinforced inorganic molded body is manufactured by mixing the cement, the siliceous material, and the reinforced fiber, molding the mixture, and selectively melting the thermoplastic resin composing the reinforced fiber at the low melting point side.
