Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the fiber reinforced plastic having the ceramic layer radiating far infrared ray with the effect of curing, drying, sterilizing, water purification and preserving, etc., by inserting the ceramic layer radiating far infrared ray into between the fibers constituting fiber reinforced plastic like sandwich.

CONSTITUTION: For instance, after the treating surface of a required mold 10 is coated with the mold release agent such as wax, it is dried in a drying furnace. Next, a gel coat layer 12 is formed thereon by spray, etc., and it is dried. A fiber substrate is laid on the surface of the gel coat layer 12, and said material is coated with the polyester resin mixed with a curing agent, and an intermediate synthetic resin layer 14 is integrally laminated by impregnating the polyester resin into the fiber substrate. The ceramic layer 16 radiating far infrared ray is integrally laminated on the intermediate synthetic resin layer 14. Finally fiber reinforced plastic 18 is integrally laminated on the ceramic layer 16 in the same way as in the case of the intermediate synthetic resin layer. Thus, the ceramic layer 16 radiating far infrared ray is caused to intervene in between the intermediate fiber layer 14 and the reinforced fiber layer 18 sandwich, whereby each layer is laminated. After said fiber has been cured, the laminate is released from a mold.
