Abstract:

To provide a fiber reinforced pressure vessel for simultaneously satisfying three targets of safety, lightness and low cost by using thin metal as a liner.

The liner is formed by welding a dome 2 and a flange 31 of a base 3 in a place of 11 by making a body part 1 and the dome 2 of the thin metal of 1 mm to 0.05 mm for lightness and low cost. Discontinuous deformation of a welding zone is restrained when receiving internal pressure by adding a helical winding fiber layer 6 over the dome and the body part from the welding zone except for a helical winding fiber layer 4 for strengthening up to the periphery of the base 3 on the body part 1, the dome 2 and the flange 31 and a hoop winding fiber layer 5 for strengthening the body part 1.
