PURPOSE: To reduce the empty weight of a stone packing cage, and to enhance durability by forming frame members having been made by bondedly bundling continuous fibers with resin materials, in a lattice shape, and making up these frame members into a cage shape, and then packing stones therein.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of continuous fibers are laminated crosswise, and these are bondedly bundled with resin materials to form a fibrous bundle. And this fibrous bundle is bonded with resin and formed in a lattice shape so as to make up a lattice-shaped member 4, and the respective sides of these members are abutted by a fiber-reinforced-resin-made spiral member 10 to assemble a cage, and then stones or the like are filled therein. By piling up these stone-packed cages on the slope of a dam, a river, a seashore, or the like, the protection of the slope can be carried out.
