To provide a high-quality fiber-reinforced resin member and its production method, wherein a lengthwise yarn can be positioned without sliding in an outer periphery of a mandrill having at least a curved part to give a fiber-reinforced resin member in which a lengthwise yarn and a diagonal yarn are both positioned homogeneously, and also to provide a machine for production of a fiber cloth for the fiber-reinforced resin member.
A long size fiber cloth is formed by knitting plural of lengthwise yarns Q, ... spreading in a lengthwise direction and plural of diagonal yarns P, ... sloping with a predetermined angle in the lengthwise direction, and the fiber cloth is impregnated with a resin, followed by curing, whereby a fiber-reinforced resin member 1 is formed. The fiber-reinforced resin member 1 has at least a curving part 1", wherein, in the curving part 1", a lengthwise yarn Q, ... is wound spirally at a, for example, 10-15 degree of a slope relative to a lengthwise direction.
