Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a molded article having excellent physical properties such as bending strength, impact resistance or the like by using a knitted fabric composed of an org. synthetic fiber with monofilament tensile strength of 100kg/mm2 or more and monofilament tensile modulus of 4000kg/mm2 or more as a reinforcing material.

CONSTITUTION: A knitted fabric is formed using an org. synthetic fiber with monofilament tensile strength of 100kgmm2 or more and monofilament tensile modulus of 4000kg/mm2 or more. This knitted fabric is used as a reinforcing material of a resin subjected to deep draw forming to obtain a deep-draw molded article having excellent physical properties such as bending strength, impact resistance or the like. At this time, as the org. synthetic fiber with monofilamnent tensile strength of 100kg/mm2 or more and monofilament tensile modulus of 4000kg/mm2 or more, a high strength polyvinyl alcohol fiber, a polyallylate fiber, an aramide fiber or a polyethylene fiber is used.
