Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fiber for reinforcing rubber excellent in adhesion to the rubber and water repellency.
CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this fiber for reinforcing rubber comprises consisting essentially of a mixed latex of (A) a styrene-butadiene rubber latex with (B) a chloroprene rubber latex and/or (C) a chlorosulfonated polyethylene latex at (5:95) to (50050) weight ratio of the component (A) to the components [(B)+(C)] in the fiber for reinforcing the rubber to which a resorcin-formalin- latex is applied.
