Abstract:

To provide a three-dimensional molded body having adequate appearance and superior mechanical characteristics, and to provide a fiber-resin composite structure that allows the molded body to be easily manufactured by being molded, does not cause a drop of a material and has adequate handleability.

The fiber-resin composite structure comprises: (A) at least one resin selected from a thermoplastic resin and a thermosetting resin; (B) an elastic fiber having elasticity; and (C) at least one fiber selected from an organic fiber and an inorganic fiber except for (B) the elastic fiber, and in which a ratio (Lb/Lc) of an average fiber length (Lb) of (B) the elastic fiber to an average fiber length (Lc) of (C) the fiber is 1.5-15. The molded body is obtained by a method for manufacturing the molded body, which comprises: passing a step of cutting the fiber-resin composite structure into a predetermined shape and then molding the structure through heating and pressurizing treatment.
