Abstract:
To provide a composite fiber structure usable in the production of flameproof protective clothing excellent in wearing feeling (hygroscopicity, moisture permeability or the like), having lightweight properties, comfortability, high flameproof properties and heat barrier properties.
This fiber structure is constituted by compounding a polyvinyl chloride resin composition and aromatic polyamide fibers and characterized in that a degree of voids represented by a weight basis (unit: g/m2)/thickness (mm) ratio is 35-90 and a limiting oxygen index (LOI) is 30 or above.
