Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber structure which has high morphological stability, is capable of stably exerting a color effect, and has high abrasion durability.SOLUTION: A fiber structure 1 includes: an upper layer 7; a lower layer; and an intermediate layer located in the middle of the upper layer 7 and the lower layer. In the fiber structure 1, a plurality of projection sections 6 are formed along one direction on the lower layer. Each of the projection sections 6 is composed of apexes 3 and two side wall sections 4 and 5 located on a lower side of the apex 3. The side wall sections 4 on one side constituting the projection sections 6 are provided mutually substantially in parallel while also the side wall sections 5 on the other side are provided mutually substantially in parallel. The side wall sections 4 and 5 constitute the intermediate layer. Each of the apexes 3 is mutually connected to the adjacent apex 3 so as to constitute the upper layer 7. In the upper layer 7, a plurality of openings 8 are dispersed. At least one of the apexes 3 and the two side wall sections 4 and 5 has a color different from colors of the other two. The fiber structure 1 is a woven fabric or a knitted fabric in which an area ratio of the openings 8 to the area of the upper layer 7 is 0.05 to 0.45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
