Abstract:
To provide a fiber treatment agent that can sufficiently suppress the accumulation of scum in a vortex flow air fine spinning and can give high-speed spinnability.
A fiber treatment agent comprising one or two or more lubricants selected from among a lubricant (A), a lubricant (B) and a lubricant (C) as given below and having a kinematic viscosity at 30°C of 1×10-6 to 100×10-6 m2/s is used as a fiber treatment agent for use in a vortex flow air fine spinning. A lubricant (A): a 5-70C aliphatic ester compound; a lubricant (B): a linear polyorganosiloxane having a kinematic viscosity at 30°C of 5×10-6 to 100×10-6 m2/s; and a lubricant (C): a mineral oil having a kinematic viscosity at 30°C of 5×10-6 to 100×10-6 m2/s.
