To provide a fiber waste-treating apparatus capable of simplifying a filter driving system, making a motor, etc., as a filter driving source unnecessary, excellent in the viewpoint of energy saving and having good maintainability.
This fiber waste-treating apparatus is equipped with a rotation filter 4 having an air-leading part 8 enabling flow of air at either one end and arranged so that a filter surface 10 faces an opening surface 3 of the end of a suction duct 2 which guides fiber wastes from a fiber waste-generating part, a suction passage 5 connected to the air-leading part 8, a suction blower 50 for depressurizing the interior of the rotation filter 4 through the suction passage 5, an exhaust gas passage 6 for guiding the flow of air discharged from the suction blower 50, a power conversion means 7 provided on the way of flow passage of air released from the exhaust gas passage 6 to the outside, and the rotation filter 4 is rotated by the power conversion means 7.
