Silk fibers are imperfectly scoured to leave a part of sericin on the surfaces of the fibers, or the sericin is adhered to the surfaces of material fibers except the silk fibers, regenerated fibers, semi-synthetic fibers or synthetic fibers. The treated fibers are processed into a fibrous article for contact with skin, such as a diaper, a diaper liner, a shorts liner, disposable shorts, a mask, an eye patch, a wound band, a sweat-removing pad or a sheet.
