Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a fibrous layer composite material having components consisting of molecularly oriented coarse filaments and long, fine discontinuous microfibers, formed without causing a phase boundary between components and suitable for medical treatment or the like by.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composite material is made up with at least two kinds of components consisting of (A) almost endless, molecularly oriented coarse filaments 12 and (B) almost non-oriented, discontinuously longer fine microfibers 14, and is formed without causing a phase boundary between the components so as to perform the respective functions of two components throughout the cross section of the composite material.
