Title:
FIBROUS NANO-SIZED SELF-ASSEMBLY MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003252893
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fibrous nano-sized self-assembly material of which the form is continuously controlled so as to be freely changed into a tubular form from a spiral ribbon-like form, by only changing, arbitrarily, a mixing ratio of two or more kinds of synthetic glucolipid components of the material, and to provide a method for producing the material.

This fibrous nano-sized self-assembly material is composed of one or more kinds of O-glucoside-type glucolipids of which the each has a structure expressed by the general formula (G is glycosyl; R is a 12-18C hydrocarbon residue), wherein the material comprises a mixture of at least two kinds of the O-glucoside-type glucolipids of which the structures are different from each other and main two components thereof are contained in an amount of ≥80 wt.% based on the total amount of the glucosides, or comprises one kind of the O-glucoside-type glucolipid of which the structure is sole.
