To provide a fibrous product having an excellent photocatalytic function and also combined with a feeling original for the fiber, while having washing durability of the excellent photocatalytic function hardly decreasing even when repeately washed, and also having the original feeling of the fiber.
This fibrous product is obtained by electrostatically fixing a zirconium phosphate layer 2 on a fibrous substrate material 1, and electrostatically fixing a photocatalyst 3 on the surface of the zirconium phosphate layer 2. Suitably, the fibrous product has zirconium phosphate multiple layers 10 of the zirconium phosphate layer 2 laminated with an aluminum ion or a polyaluminum ion 4 therebetween. Furthermore, the zirconium phosphate layer 2a at the innermost layer of the zirconium phosphate multiple layers 10 is electrostatically fixed to the fibrous substrate material 1 via the aluminum ion or polyaluminum ion 4, and also the photocatalyst 3 is electrostatically fixed to the zirconium phosphate layer 2b at the outermost layer of the zirconium phosphate multiple layers 10.
